Our Vision

Our vision is to be a valued thought partner,
providing risk/benefit consultancy and solutions, to clients
in the pharmaceutical, biotech and medtech sectors.

Pope Woodhead was established in 1981 and is based near Cambridge, UK.
Our initial focus was to improve market and product understanding, in particular the communication between pharmas’ global headquarters and affiliates (global-to-local). Our process and communications heritage stems from this time, and our on-site creative studio remains a core capability supporting our consulting practices.

During the 1990s Pope Woodhead led the way in helping clients address the needs of an evolving and increasingly sophisticated healthcare environment with diverse clinical and economic requirements. At this time our client base also expanded to include biotech and medtech companies.

Today our expert knowledge-based approach to commercial and development risk/benefit, built on our understanding of the ever-changing global healthcare environment, is at the core of our success. In excess of 30 years’ healthcare experience affords Pope Woodhead a deep understanding of the issues faced by our clients, and positions us as a leading healthcare consultancy.

We strive to live the Pope Woodhead company values, working in the best interests of our client partners and being passionate and pioneering in all that we do. Our highly experienced core team of circa 30 people includes strategy consultants, communications and design specialists, project managers, writers and analysts. This strong team is actively supported by an external network of partners and associates from academic, governmental and commercial organisations.
