13 - 14 November 2017 - Philadelphia, US
Both Pope Woodhead and Huron teams attended the Data, Evidence and Access Summit in Philadelphia, PA where we presented on the very topical subject risk-sharing in the US and its impact on access negations. The 2-day summit explored innovation in uses of real-world evidence and creating new outcomes-based pricing models. Attendees and speakers included representatives from pharma, managed care, and the FDA.
Day 1 explored the changing healthcare and reimbursement landscape, including how to establish real-world value in the eyes of payers and other key stakeholders and use digital technology and data in RWD programs. Day 2 had tracks on Real World Evidence and Market Access, and focused on demonstrating value early in the product lifecycle, and the current and future state of value-based care in the US.
During the 2-day summit, Huron/PW connected with speakers and attendees to understand their motivations for attending the conference and how the changing healthcare and reimbursement landscape is affecting their role and their organizations. Attendees had a lot of questions about how to connect HEOR with a reimbursement / access strategy, and how to integrate the use of data and digital technology.
